Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly spray a pizza pan or baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Place 1 store-bought pizza dough on the prepared pan and gently press and stretch it into the desired shape using your hands.
Brush the top of the pizza dough with approximately 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Crack 4 large eggs into a bowl and whisk until well combined. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until just set. Remove from the heat.
Brown 1 pound breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Dice ½ cup red bell pepper.
Sprinkle 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza dough.
Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs, cooked breakfast sausage, and diced red bell pepper over the cheese.
Top with the remaining 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh basil, parsley, green onions, chives, or your favorite fresh herbs before slicing and serving.
