My kids love pizza so I thought why not make a breakfast version? The results? This Breakfast pizza recipe turned out delicious!
I love that you can use whatever toppings your family likes and it is super easy. We can even enjoy this on school mornings. It is that quick and easy!

How do you make breakfast pizza from scratch?
It is super easy and you can make this in literally minutes. Now, we did use store bought pizza dough but you can make your own if you prefer. This premade dough is just so easy on busy mornings and bakes quickly.
Load the pizza with your favorite breakfast food and bake. It is that simple!
Ingredients for easy breakfast pizza:
- Store bought pizza dough (or Homemade Pizza Dough)
- 2 cups (16 oz bag) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Olive Oil
- Toppings
4 large eggs
1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
½ cup red bell pepper, diced
Basil, parsley, green onions, chives, or other herbs for garnish
Feel free to add any other toppings you love!
How to make breakfast pizza:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly spray pizza pan or baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
Form pizza dough into pan using your hands.
Brush dough with olive oil.
Next, add eggs to a bowl and whisk. Cook in a skillet on the stove.
Cut red bell pepper, set aside. Cook and drain sausage.
Add a layer of mozzarella cheese. Evenly add scrambled eggs to the pizza.
Now it is time to add sausage and diced pepper. Add more cheese. Yum!
Bake in 425 degree F oven for 15-20 or until golden brown and cheese is melted
Notes
Toppings – you can also add bacon, ham, or any toppings you like. It is so easy to make this however you like!
What to serve with breakfast pizza?
Everything you need for a great breakfast is in this pizza. There really isn’t much need to serve it with anything else.
If we are serving it for brunch, sometimes I will serve some mixed greens with it for a simple side salad.
Sometimes, we will serve it with fresh fruit, grits or muffins. Just keep it simple!

Time saving tip for this easy breakfast pizza:
We keep diced onion and bell pepper in the freezer so it is easy to add to any recipe we like. Another time saving tip is to use a small food chopper or food processor to quickly and easily chop the onions.
If you do not have one of these, I highly recommend them. They are such a time saver and you can get the veggies really fine if you have children that are picky.
I usually just chop the entire vegetable and freeze what I don’t need. It’s so nice to be able to just take the diced onion out of the freezer for recipes.
