Cottage Cheese Buffalo Chicken Dip is protein-packed and loaded with flavor! The perfect creamy dip to serve for your next game day gathering or to meal prep for the week.
Pour 2 cups cottage cheese into a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer the blended cottage cheese to a large mixing bowl.
Stir in 2 cups shredded chicken breasts, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, ½ cup buffalo sauce, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder until fully combined.
Pour the mixture into a 9x9 baking dish or 3-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle additional shredded cheddar cheese on top if desired.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until the dip is hot and bubbly.
Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
Top with diced green onions before serving.

You don’t have to blend the cottage cheese before mixing in with the other ingredients but the cheese curds won’t melt completely (this bothers some and not others), so blend based on your preference. You can make the dip with leftover shredded chicken, shred chicken from a rotisserie chicken or make your own shredded chicken. Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat the leftover dip in the oven or microwave to reheat it as needed.
