Instructions
In a shallow bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs, 1 cup milk, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
Preheat a griddle over medium heat to 350 degrees F (or use a large skillet). Grease the griddle or skillet with 2 tablespoons butter.
Dip each of the 8 slices sourdough bread into the egg mixture for approximately 30 seconds per side.
Then place the coated bread slices on the griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
