Ingredients

chicken breasts
(Approximately 5-6 chicken breasts)
1 ½
cups
BBQ Sauce
(Divided)
¼
cup
Italian Salad Dressing
¼
cup
brown sugar

tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce

(I used ciabatta buns but any will work)
½
Red Onion
(Sliced) Optional for Topping

Monterey jack cheese
(Sliced)
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together 1 cup BBQ sauce, ¼ cup Italian salad dressing, ¼ cup brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
Place 3 pounds chicken breasts in a 6-quart crock pot. Pour the sauce mixture over the top of the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Shred the chicken, then stir the remaining ½ cup BBQ sauce into the crock pot with the chicken.
Serve the chicken on 6 buns topped with ½ red onion, sliced, and 6 ounces Monterey Jack cheese.
Notes
We love serving this on buns, but this is great by itself as well.
