Instructions
Place 1 ½ pounds stew meat in the bottom of the crock pot.
In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup red cooking wine, 1 cup beef broth, and 1 package onion soup mix.
Pour the soup mixture over the stew meat in the crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the beef is tender.
During the last hour of cooking, whisk together 2 tablespoons cornstarch and ¼ cup water in a small bowl.
Stir the cornstarch mixture into the crock pot and continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
Cook the 12 oz package of egg noodles according to package directions.
Serve the beef and gravy over the cooked egg noodles and enjoy!
