Add 2 teaspoons minced garlic, ? cup red wine, ½ diced onion, 8 ounces sliced cremini mushrooms, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 3 cups beef broth.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with a small amount of cold water until smooth, then stir it into the crockpot along with 12 oz egg noodles.
Cover and cook on high for 20-40 minutes until the noodles are cooked through.
Stir in 1 cup sour cream until fully combined and creamy, then serve warm.
