Brush 1 tablespoon olive oil evenly over the corn.
Season the corn with ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper.
Pour 1 cup water into the crock pot.
Place the seasoned corn into the crock pot and cover with the lid.
Cook on high for 3–4 hours until the corn is tender and bright yellow in color.
Remove the corn from the crock pot and rub each ear with 2 tablespoons butter before serving.
Serve warm and enjoy!

I used a 6 quart crock pot for this recipe but any size crock pot will work as long as the corn on the cob will fit in the crock pot. You can also break the corn on the cob into smaller pieces to ensure that it can fit into the crock pot.
