Brown 1 pound ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat and drain any excess grease.
Place the browned ground beef, 16 ounces diced Velveeta cheese, 16 ounces diced cream cheese, 16 ounces salsa, and 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (or 1 packet taco seasoning) into a 2.5 to 4-quart slow cooker.
Stir the ingredients together as much as possible.
Cover and cook on Low for 1 to 2 hours, stirring frequently, until all the cheese is melted and the dip is smooth and fully combined.
Once the dip is hot and creamy, switch the slow cooker to the Warm setting.
Serve warm with tortilla chips and enjoy.

Notes
Once you are ready to serve, you can add 1/2 cup of Milk if you prefer your dip to be thinner. I also gradually add in milk until the dip is the consistency that you prefer.
