cornstarch
Instructions
Season 6 boneless pork chops with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons minced garlic, ? cup honey, ½ cup chicken broth, and 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar.
Pour the honey mixture over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours, or until the pork chops are fork-tender.
Remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and place them on a plate. Cover to keep warm.
In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of the cooking liquid from the slow cooker until smooth.
Stir the cornstarch mixture into the sauce in the slow cooker.
Cook on Low for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
Serve the pork chops with the sauce spooned over the top.
Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
