Brown 1 pound ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, then drain off any excess grease and water.
Add the beef to a crock pot. Stir in 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons ketchup, ½ teaspoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon chili powder, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours.
Serve on hot dogs with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes
Use a low fat ground beef for the best flavor and to prevent the chili from being greasy. If the chili is too thick, add water to thin it out to the consistency that you prefer. Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
