Ingredients

large boneless skinless chicken breasts

onion
sliced thick

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
pepper

cup
barbecue sauce

cups
shredded Monterey cheese

slices
bacon cooked and crumbled
½
cup
diced tomatoes
¼
cup
green onions
Instructions
Place 1 sliced onion in the bottom of a 6 quart crock pot and top with 3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts.
Season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.
Pour 1 cup barbecue sauce over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
About 30 minutes before serving, top with 2 cups shredded Monterey cheese and 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon.
Serve over the onions and top with ½ cup diced tomatoes and ¼ cup sliced green onions.
