3canspeaches in heavy syrup (14-15 ounces each, well drained)
1boxyellow cake mix
½cupbutter
Instructions
Drain 3 cans peaches in heavy syrup (14–15 ounces each) well and pour the peaches into the bottom of a 6-quart crock pot.
Sprinkle 1 box yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches in the crock pot.
Dice ½ cup butter into small pieces (about 24 small pieces) and scatter the butter evenly over the cake mix.
Place a clean kitchen towel over the crock pot and place the lid securely on top of the towel.
Cover and cook on high for 2–3 hours, until the top of the cobbler is slightly golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
It’s important to drain the peaches or the cobbler will be mushy. The kitchen towel soaks up the excess liquid from the cobbler so that the condensation from the crock pot does not drip back into the cobbler. If the cobbler is not browning, remove the lid from the crock pot and cook on high for 10-20 minutes and it should start to brown slightly.
