Ingredients

ground italian sausage

russet potatoes
(peeled and diced)

minced garlic

heavy whipping cream

cup
parmesan cheese
(for serving)
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound ground Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Add the ground sausage to a crock pot.
Add 4 russet potatoes (peeled and diced), 4 cups chicken broth, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and ½ onion (chopped) to the slow cooker.
Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours on low or on high for 3 hours.
Stir in 1 cup heavy whipping cream and cook on low for an additional 15–20 minutes.
Serve warm topped with the parmesan cheese and enjoy!
