Crock Pot Shrimp Scampi Recipe is a simple and tasty recipe that can be prepared with little effort. Lemon, Parmesan cheese and more make this meal amazing.
Add 2 lb frozen, precooked, deveined and peeled shrimp to the crockpot. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon black pepper and 1 tablespoon garlic salt over the shrimp. Squeeze the juice from 2 lemons over the shrimp. Add ½ cup butter (cut into pieces) on top of the shrimp.
Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or on high for 1 hour until the shrimp is heated through.
Stir in ¼ cup of the ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese until melted.
Serve the shrimp and sauce over 16 oz angel hair pasta (cooked to al dente). Top with the remaining ¼ cup parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons fresh parsley before serving.

For the shrimp, you can use raw shrimp as well. If you use raw shrimp increase the cook time to on low for 3 hours or 1.5 hours on high.
