Ingredients
2
cups
whole milk
1 ½
cups
heavy whipping cream
1 ½
cups
white chocolate chips
I used Ghirardelli
1
tbsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
Add 1½ cups white chocolate chips to the bottom of a slow cooker or crock pot.
Pour in 2 cups whole milk, 1½ cups heavy whipping cream and 1 Tbsp vanilla extract.
Stir to combine the ingredients.
Cover and cook on High for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
After the first 30 minutes, stir well to help the chocolate melt evenly.
Continue cooking, stirring occasionally throughout the remaining cook time, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Once the white chocolate chips are completely melted and the hot chocolate is hot, stir one final time.
Serve immediately and top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows and crushed peppermint candy cane (optional).
