Apples should become a sauce as you stir. If you would like a “less” chunky sauce then place in a food processor or blender.
Cool in Fridge.
Then the apple sauce is ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes
This homemade applesauce makes an amazing after school snack!Recipe Tips
Preparing apples - We recommend washing and peeling apples before dicing them. Try to dice them in about the same size pieces so they cook evenly.
Cooking Time - Cooking time will vary so make sure to check apples. You want to make sure that you do not overcook as it could affect the flavor of the apples.
Applesauce Texture - After the apples have finished cooking, you can stir together. If you prefer a less chunky applesauce, you can blend them in a blender
Variations Ideas
Best Apples - Feel free to use any types of apples that you prefer. From honey crisp to Cortland apples there are many to choose from.
Spices - You can also change the spices by adding in nutmeg, allspice or brown sugar.
Citrus Flavor - I like to add fresh squeeze lemon juice as it really balances the flavors.
Best Apples to Make Homemade ApplesauceReally just about any combination of apple varieties will work to make applesauce, but some types of apple will taste better than others.I usually like to have a mix of tart and sweet apples in mine. Granny Smith, McIntosh, Fuji, Pink Lady, Gala, Rome, and Jonagold are all great choices! My only actual suggestion here is to avoid golden delicious or red delicious apples because they really do not have much flavor.
