2poundsCarrots (peeled and sliced into 1/2 inch thick pieces)
¼cupbutter(melted)
½cupbrown sugar
½tspsalt
¼tsp cinnamon
1Tablespoonfresh parsley(chopped)
Instructions
Place the sliced carrots in the bottom of the crock pot.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
Pour the butter mixture over the carrots and stir until evenly coated.
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours, or until the carrots are tender.
Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
If the glaze is too thin, remove the lid from the crock pot and cook it on high for 15-20 minutes for the sauce to thicken. Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
