Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, brown 2 pounds ground beef with ½ diced onion until the beef is fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Transfer the browned ground beef and onion mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker.
Add 1 diced green bell pepper, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 2 cans (14.5 oz each) crushed tomatoes, 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, and 3 cups beef broth. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
About 15 minutes before serving, stir in 3 cups dry uncooked macaroni. The mixture will look watery, but the pasta will absorb the liquid as it cooks.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until the macaroni reaches your desired tenderness.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
