Try Freezer Breakfast Burritos Recipe for an easy meal on busy mornings that everyone will enjoy. Loaded with eggs, cheese and more for a great breakfast.
Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat and set aside in a bowl.
Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and set aside in a bowl.
Place the flour tortillas on a flat surface and evenly layer the scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, salsa, and shredded cheddar cheese divided between each tortilla.
Wrap them to form a burrito.
To freeze, place all the burritos on a baking sheet.
Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
Then move the burritos to a freezer safe bag or container and freezer for up to 3 months.
To defrost, remove a burrito from the freezer bag. Wrap it with a damp paper towel and reheat it in the microwave for up to 2 minutes.
Notes
This is a great base recipe and you can easily add in your favorite items into these burritos. We love adding in peppers, onions or even hash browns. You can also store any leftover burritos in the refrigerator in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
