Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 1 box cake mix
- 1 can 15 oz 100% Pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple juice, water or milk
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 box Butter Golden cake mix, 1 can (15 oz) 100% pumpkin, and 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.
- Stir until the ingredients are fully combined and no dry cake mix remains.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake according to the package directions for the cake mix being used, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together 1 cup confectioner's sugar, 2 tablespoons apple juice (or water or milk), and ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.
- Continue whisking until the glaze is smooth and pourable. Add additional confectioner's sugar if the glaze is too thin or additional apple juice if it is too thick.
- Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
- Drizzle the glaze evenly over the cake before serving.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy.
