Ingredients

Boneless skinless chicken breasts

Instructions
Filet 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts to make them thinner.
Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes until well browned.
Flip and cook for another 3 minutes until browned on the other side.
Pour in ½ cup water and 1 cup salsa. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.
Season with 1 teaspoon black pepper and ½ teaspoon salt.
Simmer for about 10 minutes until the salsa has reduced and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve topped with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and enjoy!
