Peel the bananas and cut them into ½-inch thick slices.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Whisk in the honey, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
Carefully add the banana slices to the skillet in a single layer.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until the bananas are golden brown and caramelized. Watch them closely to prevent burning.
Carefully transfer the fried bananas to a plate.
Serve warm on their own or over ice cream, pancakes, or waffles. Enjoy!
Notes
You will want to use firm bananas for this recipe so they do not get too mushy when frying them. You want them to be just ripe. Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
