Instructions
Wash 2 pounds red potatoes thoroughly and quarter them, leaving the skin on.
Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover them completely with water.
Bring the water to a boil and simmer the potatoes for 10–15 minutes until they are fork tender.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
Add 2 teaspoons minced garlic, ¼ cup butter, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ cup milk to the potatoes.
Use an electric mixer to blend the potatoes until they are light and fluffy.
Gradually add the remaining ¼ cup milk until the mashed potatoes reach your preferred consistency.
Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
