1lbraw shrimppeeled and deveined (tails on or off)
2tbspolive oil
½tspgarlic powder
½tsp dried oregano
½tspdried basil
2tbspgrated Parmesan cheese
½tsp Salt
½tsppepper
1lemonjuiced
2tbsp fresh parsleychopped
Instructions
Preheat the grill to 350 degrees F and brush the grill grates with oil to prevent the shrimp from sticking.
Make sure 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, is fully thawed.
Place the shrimp in a large bowl. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon dried oregano, and ½ teaspoon dried basil. Toss until the shrimp is evenly coated.
Then gently place the shrimp directly on the grill and cook for 1-2 minutes until the shrimp turns bright pink and is cooked through.
Then move the shrimp to a plate. Top with 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper. Enjoy!
Notes
I love grilling the shrimp directly on the grill gates but if your shrimp is smaller and you're concerned that it will fall through the grate, you can cook the shrimp on a cast iron skillet on the grill.
