In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons olive oil, Juice of ½ lemon, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
Add 1 pound broccoli florets and toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.
Let the broccoli marinate while the grill preheats.
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
Place the broccoli directly on the grill grates. A grill basket may be used to prevent smaller florets from falling through.
Grill for 8–10 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the broccoli is tender and lightly charred.
Keep the grill lid closed between turns to help the broccoli cook evenly.
Remove the broccoli from the grill and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
