Dressing of Choicemayonnaise, mustard or honey mustard
Instructions
In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine the vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Spread your desired dressing on the hamburger buns. Top each bottom bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a grilled chicken breast.
Add the top buns and serve immediately.
Notes
Use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.Store leftover chicken separately from the sandwich toppings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
