Ingredients
1poundground beef
½cupwhite or yellow onion(chopped)
2canstomato sauce(8 ounces each)
1Tablespoongranulated sugar
1teaspoongarlic powder
2teaspoonsItalian Seasoning
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
8ouncesMacaroni Pasta
1 ½cupsShredded Cheddar Cheese(divided)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish.
Cook 8 oz macaroni pasta to al dente and drain.
In a skillet, cook 1 lb ground beef with ½ cup chopped onion until browned. Drain grease.
Stir in 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce, 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the cooked pasta and ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Pour into baking dish and top with remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted.
Let sit 10 minutes, then serve.
