In a medium mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat together ½ cup softened salted butter, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley until light and fluffy.
Slice 1 loaf French bread in half lengthwise and place both halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
Spread the butter mixture on each side of the bread. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered bread.
Baked uncovered for 8-10 minutes until the outside of the bread is slightly browned.
Cut and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
You can also slice the bread in 3/4-1" thick pieces. Top each piece with the butter mixture and cheese and bake for the same amount of time. You can make a big batch of this garlic bread and freeze in freezer bag for easy garlic bread any night of the week!
