Instant pot baked ziti can be ready in under 10 minutes for a one pot meal your family will love. This meal is faster than take out and tastes better too.
Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the ground beef and onion and cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Turn off the sauté setting. Drain any excess grease and scrape the bottom of the Instant Pot insert to remove any browned bits.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, minced garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, and beef broth.
Add the ziti and gently stir to combine.
Secure the lid and set the valve to the sealing position. Pressure cook on high for 3 minutes.
When the cooking time is complete, immediately quick release the pressure to prevent the pasta from overcooking.
In a small bowl, stir together the ricotta and Parmesan cheese. Stir the cheese mixture into the pasta.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. Replace the lid without turning the Instant Pot back on and let sit for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
Serve warm.
