Instructions
Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot. Place a steamer basket or the Instant Pot rack in the bottom.
Arrange the eggs on the basket or rack.
Secure the lid and turn the valve to the sealing position.
Pressure cook on High for 5 minutes.
When the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes. Then carefully quick release the remaining pressure.
Transfer the eggs to an ice-water bath and let sit for 5 minutes.
Remove the eggs from the ice bath.
To peel, gently crack each egg on the countertop and remove the shell.
Store the hard-boiled eggs in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
