Turn the instant pot to the sauté setting and add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Then add 6 boneless pork chops and cook for 3-6 minutes on each side until browned. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the instant pot insert to remove anything that might have gotten stuck while browning the pork chops.
Place ½ cup butter on top of the pork chops and sprinkle 1 package ranch seasoning mix (1 oz) on top.
Pour 1 cup water over the pork.
Place the lid on and set the lid to the sealing position.
Push the manual button and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
After this cook time, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes and then do a quick release by move the valve on the lid from the sealing to the venting position to release the remaining pressure from the instant pot.
Then they are ready to serve and enjoy!
You can even spoon the buttery sauce over the pork chops and over your veggies when serving.
