Instant Pot Sausage and Peppers

Ingredients
- 2 19 oz packages Italian Sweet Sausages (the big links)
- 2 red peppers sliced
- 2 green peppers sliced
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Add the following ingredients to the Instant Pot: 2 (19 oz) packages Italian sweet sausage links, 2 sliced red bell peppers, 2 sliced green bell peppers, 1 sliced large onion, 2 tsp minced garlic, 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning, 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce and 1 cup chicken broth.
- Stir gently to distribute the vegetables and seasonings around the sausages.
- Secure the lid and set the valve to Sealing.
- Cook on High Pressure for 20 minutes.
- When the cooking cycle is complete, carefully perform a quick release.
- Remove the sausages from the Instant Pot and slice them into bite-sized pieces or rounds.
- Return the sliced sausage to the pot and stir into the peppers, onions, and sauce.
- Serve hot on hoagie rolls, over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or enjoy on its own.
