Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly coat it with nonstick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, cream cheese, ½ cup mozzarella cheese, ½ cup cheddar cheese, minced garlic, and half of the diced jalapeños until well combined.
Place the French bread halves, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top. Finish with the remaining jalapeños and the crumbled bacon.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the bread cool for 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
