Instructions
Wash 7 limes thoroughly.
Cut 5 limes in half and squeeze the juice into a large pitcher.
Pour 10 cups water into the pitcher and stir to combine.
Add ice to the pitcher as desired.
Slice the remaining 2 limes into thin rounds and add them to the pitcher.
Refrigerate the lime water for 20 to 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Pour into glasses and garnish each serving with fresh mint sprigs, if desired.
Serve cold and enjoy.
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, although this drink is best enjoyed the same day it is made.
Notes
You can also add lemons or sparkling water to change up the flavor of this easy lime water.
