Just 3 ingredients is all you need for for this delicious mandarin orange angel food cake recipe. It is super moist and can be thrown together in minutes.
1boxangel food cake mix(must be one that only requires water)
8ozwhipped topping (cool whip)
Instructions
Thoroughly drain 1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges and place them in a mixing bowl. Use a potato masher or your hand mixer to crush the mandarin oranges.
Add 1 box angel food cake mix and mix on medium speed until well combined.
Mix on medium until well blended.
Pour in the cake pan. DO NOT spray the pan with non stick spray first.
Baked at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Allow to cool completely.
Spread 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping evenly over the cooled cake. Serve and enjoy!

Refrigerate the leftovers (covered) for up to 5 days day.
