This easy Mango salsa recipe has the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. Enjoy this with your favorite Mexican dish, seafood or with tortilla chips.
1Jalapenoabout 2 tablespoons, seeds removed and minced
¼cupcilantro leavesfinely chopped
Juice from 1 large limeabout 2 tablespoons
¼teaspoonground cuminoptional
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Add 2½ cups finely diced mangoes, ¼ cup finely diced red onion, ? cup finely diced red bell pepper, 1 minced jalapeño (about 2 tablespoons with seeds removed), and ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro to a large mixing bowl.
Stir to combine
Squeeze the juice from 1 large lime (about 2 tablespoons) over the mixture.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and add ¼ teaspoon ground cumin, if using.
Stir to combine
Cover and place in refrigerator at least 15 minutes before serving
Serve with tortilla chips and lime wedges
Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 2 days
