Start the day off right with this Mixed Berry Smoothie. It is easy to make and so refreshing with the combination of the ingredients. This smoothie is delicious served as a breakfast, snack or after dinner dessert.
Add 1½ cups frozen mixed berries, 1 medium sliced banana, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon honey (if using), and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract to a blender.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
Taste the smoothie and add additional honey if desired.
Pour the smoothie evenly into 2 glasses.
Garnish with a few extra berries if desired.
Serve immediately while cold and enjoy.
Notes
If using a high-powered blender, the frozen berries should blend into a smooth consistency without the need for excessive blending time.Adjust the sweetness of the smoothie by adding more or less honey.
