Place the 4 salmon fillets, skin-side down, on a large plate.
Squeeze the juice from 1 lemon evenly over the salmon.Season both sides of the salmon with 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
Rub the seasonings into the salmon well on both sides.
Allow the salmon to marinade for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat the grill to 400 degrees F and rub some olive oil on the grill grates so that the salmon does not stick to the grill. Gently place the salmon on the grill, skin side down and brush the salmon with the oil on both sides.
Close the lid and cook the salmon the salmon for 14-20 minutes until the salmon is flakey with a fork.
For the Garlic Herb Butter:
In a small bowl, combine ½ cup softened unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley. Stir until well combined.
Serve the salmon with the garlic butter on top and enjoy!
