Open 2 cans biscuits (10 count each) and press each biscuit into the muffin tin to form cups.
Add 1–2 tablespoons pizza sauce into each biscuit cup.
Sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella cheese evenly among the cups. Top with mini pepperonis. (don't go overboard on the cheese, these are going to rise quite a bit. I learned the hard way)
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until nice and golden brown.
Allow the cupcakes to cool about 5 minutes (they will "deflate" some) before serving.
