Instructions
Place 4 pounds pork shoulder in the crock pot.
Season the pork with ¼ cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, and ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Top with 1 sliced white onion and pour 2 cups barbecue sauce over the top.
Pour ¼ cup apple cider vinegar and 1 cup chicken broth over the pork.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the pork shreds easily.
Shred the pork and serve it over buns or over potatoes or rice. Enjoy!
