Ingredients
1lbGround Beef
8ozlasagna noodles(broken into bite size pieces)
1tbspolive oil
¼onion(diced)
1TbspMinced Garlic
2tspsalt
½tsppepper
1TbspItalian Seasoning
2cansCrushed Tomatoes(15 oz each)
2cupsWater
1cupMozzarella Cheese Shredded
½cupRicotta Cheese(Optional for Serving)
Parsley (chopped)
Instructions
Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 lb ground beef, ¼ diced onion, and 1 Tbsp minced garlic. Season with 2 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, and 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning. Cook until beef is browned, then drain grease.
Stir in 2 (15 oz) cans crushed tomatoes, 2 cups water, and 8 oz broken lasagna noodles.
Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15–20 minutes until noodles are tender.
Top with 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, cover, and cook 2–3 minutes until melted.
Serve topped with ½ cup ricotta cheese and chopped parsley.
