For the Decorations:
½cupchocolate chips
32pretzel twists
32Candy Eyes
16Red M&Ms
Instructions
For the Brownies:
Preheat the oven according to the brownie mix package directions. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Prepare the brownie batter according to the package directions and spread it evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake as directed on the package until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper and transfer them to a cutting board.
Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out 16 heart-shaped brownies.
To Decorate:
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and completely melted.
Use the melted chocolate as "glue." Dip a toothpick into the melted chocolate and apply a small amount to the back of each decoration.
Attach 2 pretzel twists to the top of each brownie for the antlers.
Add 2 candy eyes below the antlers.
Place 1 red M&M below the eyes to create Rudolph's nose.
Allow the chocolate to set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For the cleanest cuts, chill the brownies for 20-30 minutes before using the cookie cutter.
Save the brownie scraps to make cake pops, brownie truffles, or ice cream toppings.
Store the decorated brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
