Ingredients
1
pound
Fresh Mushrooms
2
Tbsp
Olive Oil
2
Tbsp
Butter
½
tsp
Salt
½
tsp
Pepper
Instructions
Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp paper towel or quickly rinsing and patting them dry. Slice into ½-inch thick slices.
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the butter is melted.
Add the mushrooms in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary.
Let the mushrooms cook undisturbed for 3-5 minutes to develop a golden brown crust.
Stir the mushrooms and continue cooking for 2-3 more minutes, or until browned and tender to your liking.
Season with the salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Serve immediately while warm.
