In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup ketchup, ¼ cup molasses, ¼ cup white vinegar, ¼ cup minced onion, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, and 2 teaspoons minced garlic until well combined.
Using kitchen scissors or a sharp knife, cut the 2½–3 pounds pork ribs into halves or thirds so they fit inside the slow cooker.
Place one slab of ribs into the crock and generously coat with sauce. Place the remaining ribs in the slow cooker, coating with sauce after each addition. Pour ¼ cup water around the edges of the slow cooker.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker. Serve warm with additional sauce from the slow cooker, if desired, and enjoy.
Notes
The sauce on these ribs is so sweet and spicy. Pair this recipe with baked beans.
