Cover the crock pot and cook the mixture on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the beef is tender.
During the last 15 minutes of cooking, stir 6 ounces uncooked medium egg noodles into the crock pot and continue cooking until the noodles are tender.
Serve the soup warm and enjoy.

Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5 days. The egg noodles can be cooked separately instead of in the crock pot. If you choose to cook the noodles separately, omit the water from this recipe as it will not be needed in the crock pot.
