Ingredients
For the Cupcakes:

box White Cake Mix

box Strawberry Jell-O
2

Sweetened Lemonade mix

thawed package Frozen Strawberries in Sugar
or your could use FRESH strawberries when they are in season

For the Frosting and Serving:

Instructions
For the Cupcakes:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 24 muffin cups with cupcake liners.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 box white cake mix, 1 box strawberry Jell-O and 2 tablespoons sweetened lemonade drink mix.
Puree the 16-ounce package of thawed frozen strawberries in sugar until smooth.
Add the pureed strawberries, 3 large eggs and ? cup vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.
Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Fill each cupcake liner about ? to ¾ full with batter.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
For the Frosting and Serving:
In a medium mixing bowl, beat ½ cup softened butter until creamy.
Gradually beat in 6 cups powdered sugar and ¼ cup sweetened lemonade drink mix.
Add 2 tablespoons water and continue mixing until the frosting is smooth and reaches a pipe-able consistency.
Transfer the frosting to a piping bag fitted with your favorite decorating tip or to a zip-top bag with one corner snipped off.
Pipe the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes.
Top each cupcake with a Chewy Lemon head candy, if desired.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 4-5 days.
