This sweet Honey Cornbread is moist, tender and ready in just 30 minutes. Made with honey instead of sugar, it's the easy homemade cornbread your whole family will ask for again and again.
Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray a 9×9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup yellow cornmeal, ½ cup white sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 3 teaspoons baking powder.
Add 1 egg, 1 cup milk, ? cup vegetable oil, and ¼ cup honey to the bowl.
Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are fully combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown.
Allow the cornbread to cool slightly, then cut and serve with butter. Enjoy!
