Pour the mixture in a freezer safe container. Cover and freeze for 2-3 hours until slightly frozen. Stir the mixture approximately every 30 minutes so ensure that the ingredients are combined.

This recipe can also be made in an ice cream maker if you have one. Once the ingredients are combined in a blender, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions until the mixture is frozen and frosty (mine took approximately 20-30 minutes). You may have to make in batches depending on the size of your ice cream maker. Freeze any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 months. This recipe can easily be made without chocolate milk. Just mix together regular milk with chocolate syrup or your favorite type of chocolate powder.
