Notes
My kids couldn’t believe that they were eating Dr Pepper with this chicken recipe. You will love this recipe!Recipe Tips
Chicken - You can put the chicken in the slow cooker frozen or thawed. Cooking time may change slightly, but we usually cook on low for about 6 hours either way.
BBQ Sauce - You can use any type of BBQ Sauce that you prefer. We really like making homemade but Sweet Baby Rays is always a family favorite store bought option.
Chicken - Feel free to use boneless skinless chicken thighs for this recipe if you prefer. You can also use pulled pork for a delicious variation.
Seasoning - You can also add in different seasoning if you prefer. We like to add in salt and pepper with garlic salt and onion powder for added flavor.
